VOLGGER, B&B NEAR LAKE BRAIES
B&B Volgger in Riscone sits just 18 miles from Lake Braies, the most beautiful lake in the Dolomites. In the summer, the lake is tinged with a beautiful emerald colour, and attracts outdoor enthusiasts as a destination or starting point for many kinds of activities.
In winter, the lake freezes over and gets blanketed in snow, creating a magical scene for the traditional Lake Braies Christmas market. The lake stands at 4908 ft (1496 m) altitude and is easily reached by bike, by public transport or by car.
DOWNHILL & FREERIDE
AT PLAN DE CORONES
Those who love a thrill have found just what they are looking for: with 6 freeride bike trails dedicated to both beginner as professional riders, Plan de Corones will give you that adrenaline rush!
Just load your bike into the cable car and, once you reach the peak, let yourself go along the routes.
Beginners who want to get involved can take courses with qualified instructors.
THREE PEAKS OF LAVAREDO
Our B&B in Riscone is located in the surroundings of Tre Cime di Lavaredo (three peaks of Lavaredo), the symbol of the Dolomites which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009.
This panorama offers magical displays of light, as the peaks glow fire red against the deep blue sky, making these mountains famous the world over.
The resort around Tre Cime di Lavaredo offers many different hiking options with trails for all levels and ages.

SORAPIS LAKE
Sorapis Lake is among the most beautiful places in the Dolomites and will enchant you with the turquoise color of its waters.
At 6,300 ft altitude, it is a desired destination for hikers of all ages especially during summer months, when temperatures are milder.
Be aware that Lake Sorapis can only be reached on foot: although the walk is quite challenging, you will be surely rewarded of the effort by the entertaining show of nature.
